Whether you believe or don’t in any of the scenarios for correcting world problems, there is little doubt that sustainability only benefits your personal piece of paradise, the community around you and the world if enough participate in it. Other than to say that the worlds problems can be solved in a garden, politics, for the most part will be left out of discussions on this site.

We will be focusing on sustainable, permaculture solutions.

Permaculture is a system of agricultural and social design principles centered around simulating or directly utilizing the patterns and features observed in natural ecosystems.~ Wikipedia

I have personally chosen a Vegan lifestyle as much for the welfare of animals/my love for them as for improving my own health. How eating animals affects the world, well, that’s political. I have lots of opinions, but I will try to keep them to myself. This is something each person has to come to terms with, or not, in their own time.

Because that is my bias, solutions will mostly deal with non-animal based strategies. The only “livestock” here will be those which reside in the microbiome. They are the most beneficial workers on the planet, therefore, priority status will be given to their protection. For the most part, first doing no harm with be the action taken. Rather, things will be added or subtracted to support cooperation among natural things doing what they do best.
